Thomas Edison an American inventor was born in 1847, in state Ohio and died in 1931, in state New-Jersey. He developed many useful devices, such as electric lighting and he also invented some other important things for society. His first power station was on Manhattan Island, in New York. He was the first man who invented a light bulp model in 1879. He also succeeded in making telegraph. His brilliant knowledge greatly influenced people's life and made it more comfortable and easier.
